Stephens and Stephens , LLP
We recently brought the law firm of Stephens and Stephens into the social media age with this newly designed and social friendly website. This custom theme is great for a site who might not update on a daily basis, but want’s to showcase everything the site has to offer right on the front page.
Finger Lakes Bone and Joint Center
Finger Lakes Bone and Joint Center in Geneva, NY faced what is sadly, a common problem. Their webmaster had suddenly disappeared after building them a website that no one could edit or change except the assistance of the designer.
They called us at and we took their former flash based website, that wasn’t optimized and search engine friendly and built a custom theme to bring them into 2010.
While still a static website, the site is now ready to be social friendly, and best thing is, it’s so easy to manage that office assistants can now update the website without being at the mercy of a web designer.

365 Fitness Challenge
A group of people made a friendly wager that they could exercise 365 days a year for at least a 1/2 hour a day and try to keep everyone honest while doing so. So they needed their own social network website with user profiles and blogging functions to update daily.
Its a private and closed website, but feel free to take a look around at what is possible with a custom wordpress website: http://365orfold.com/
Paterson Is Your New Tax
Sometimes you need to KISS your social media project and website. (you know… Keep It Simple Stupid)
We learned that lesson from this fun project building a website around Governor David Paterson’s crazy list of things he wanted to tax in order to balance the 2009 New York State Budget.
People submitted their own ideas about things that Paterson wanted to tax and the results turned into a true vox populi. Readers can click through the millions of random responses the site received in just 48 hours. This site is proof that a simple idea and a connected media outlet can achieve wide awareness and involvement for an issue campaign.
We even got ourselves noticed by the NY Times and national blogs and news outlets with this social media campaign and site.
See, sometimes all you need is a KISS

Hamburg Democratic Committee
The Hamburg Democratic Committee needed a web solution to introduce their 2009 slate of candidates to a wider audience. Their plan worked, with 3 of the 4 candidates winning seats on the Hamburg Town Board.
Looks like they haven’t continued with a shared web strategy after the election, but the site is there for them to do the whole thing over again next election season.

Lynn Dearmyer Campaign
Another political website with amazing results. Lynn came within 100 votes of ousting a long time incumbent Erie County Legislator. Lynn is still planning on maintaining her website as she prepares for her next political endeavor.

Hamburg Candidates
While we usually oppose static websites in 2009, that was what was needed for this political project.
Branding the slate of candidates and their websites for the 2009 town of Hamburg proved to be a great success. The website for each candidate corresponded to the colors and branding of their political literature and campaign signage. One candidate decided to go with someone else for their website.
All but one candidate won election. Guess which one lost?

Zoom Copy
Zoom copy wanted a unique website based on some drawings the owner created that would allow him to show potential customers his services and provide him a daily space to blog about other stuff that interests him and his company.

WNYmedia.net
WNYmedia.net is not your average wordpress install. It is actually a complex customization of wordpress to manipulate it into a site that could handle more than 50,000 individual pages and posts, 50 different daily contributors and includes daily up to the minute content from 5 network sites and media partners.
What do you think we do, sit here all day and monitor Buffalo’s most visited independent web site 24 /7. Okay well yeah, but sometimes it needs to be able to update and maintain itself when we have lives and other important business to attend to.
This is a great example of the complexity of a CMS website that can be customized to suite even the most difficult of tasks.
Let us put all our hard work and expertise into your next website project.
Love Knows No Boundaries
In the days after the horrible tragedy of the crash of flight 3407, WNYmedia Services was asked to create a website for the Love Knows No Boundaries benefit put together by local musicians including recording artists in the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame.
The website needed to be able to handle payments, downloads of the mp3 once purchased and lots of video of the making of the song.
